Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver – you will be briefed shortly and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey is amazing and you will make two stopovers: at the Uganda Equators for memorable photographs and in Mbarara town for lunch. Proceed to the park for dinner and overnight at Rushaga Haven Lodge (Budget) / Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Midrange) / Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury)
Day 2: Gorilla trekking – Afternoon Relaxation
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters (with packed lunch and water) for briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. The time taken while searching for the humble giant apes is unpredictable however; it ranges between 2-5 hours depending on the movements of the Gorillas. The activity involves climbing up and sloping down making it tiresome but the thrill of encountering Gorillas erases the poor memories you obtained while looking for them. Meet Gorillas and chat for a maximum of one hour – take photos, films and then return to your lodge for lunch and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight at your previous Lodge. Overnight at Rushaga Haven Lodge (Budget) / Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Midrange) / Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury)
Day 3: Return to Entebbe Airport – Departure
After breakfast, drive at leisure back to Entebbe Airport for your evening flight back home.
