Day 1: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start off your 4 days Bwindi Gorillas and Batwa Trail with an early breakfast and scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is 8-9 hours’ drive away. The route you will be using is well endowed with breathtaking tourist attractions and wonderful photogenic stopovers that include the Uganda Equator line along the Kampala-Masaka highway (in Mpigi district), lush rolling hills, stunning savannah plains as well as rich cultural backdrop. You will break the journey at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch as well as taste of Ankole culture, then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a hefty breakfast, you will head to the Park Headquarters with your trekking necessities for briefing by the Head ranger before starting the search for the mountain gorillas within the dense jungles of Bwindi. Much as trekking time is usually unpredictable due to the constant movement of the mountain gorillas, experience and research shows that it lasts anywhere between one and four hours. This hectic trek is usually forgotten by the thrill of spending time (one hour) and staring into the innocent eyes of the gentle giant leaves long lasting memories of a lifetime. Later retire to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Batwa Cultural Experience
On the third day of your 4 Days Bwindi Gorillas and Batwa Trail you will embark on the life-changing Batwa trail that will introduce you to the lifestyle of the original inhabitants of Bwindi forest before it was gazetted into a National Park in 1993. These hunter-gatherers depended on the forest for shelter, medicine and food before being evicted and left to fend for themselves and from your tour you will entertained in some of their sorrowful and soul touching songs. While on this trail, your guides will be Batwa women or men who will take you through the forest to show you how they gathered honey, how to make bamboo cups, hunting techniques and even visit a traditional medicine man who will identify some of the medicinal plants and common ailments they treat. After this informative tour, return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure from Bwindi Forest National Park
You will check-out and leave Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast to return to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch. Arrive in the evening for your return flight or dinner and overnight.
