Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, our company safari guide will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Forest. This journey will take you south west of Uganda. You will have a stopover at the equator for photographs, buy some souvenirs, have a quick snack and continue through Mbarara where you will have another stop for lunch and then proceed to reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. In the evening you may go for a community walk where you will be entertained in some of the cultural dance of the community, you will meet the Buhoma community people, interact with the children. Dinner and overnight
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest Park
Early in the morning after breakfast and briefing by a ranger guide, enter into the Gorilla Forest for your adventure. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense and is a home for numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Mammals in the forest include the endangered mountain gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and many others. The park is known for its fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain vary according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. Dinner and overnight
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will enter the Park with a game drive en-route in the southern Sector of the park called Ishasha which is commonly known for its rare tree climbing lions. You will have a game drive in the Ishasha sector and look out very closely for the rare tree climbing lions in fig trees. Dinner and overnight
Day 4: Game drive and Launch cruise
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive in search for early risers in the Kasenyi area. The park has diverse eco-system of grassy plains, rivers, crater lakes, forests, swamps and lakes. These are a home to various types of wildlife and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth will reward you with views of animals such as lions, leopards, forest hogs, buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and other types of antelopes. Return to your Lodge for lunch and after, go for a 3 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This cruise will let you pass through a place of the highest concentration of hippos and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers good platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Dinner and overnight
Day 5: Game drive and transfer back to Kampala
After a fully served breakfast, you will set out for the last game drive in the park to search for the animals missed out in the previous Game drive. This time you will make the game drive in the Northern Crater area. Return back to the lodge for early lunch and in the afternoon, travel back to Kampala.
