Day 1: Travel to Bwindi
Pickup in the morning and transfer from Kampala to Bwindi. You will have a stopover at the Equator and after proceed with your tour in the western Uganda trough the Masaka Mbarara High way. En route lunch at Mbarara and continue through the Ankole land where you have a chance to view the long horned Ankole cattle. The journey continues through the rolling winding hills and the terraced landscapes of the Kigezi region, beautiful panoramas that are part of the tour western region along the way. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Have breakfast and proceed for a briefing on gorilla trekking from the park officials. You will also need to carry a packed lunch and drinking water. Remember to wear comfortable boots or sturdy shoes, a light rain jacket as Bwindi has un predictable weather, insect repellants, and sun screen to make the activity a stunning experience. The walking sticks will be available from the park rangers; you will also have the evening visits to the local communities surrounding the park.
Go on a guided walk through to forest in search of the mountain gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas, you have a full hour to watch these great apes. After the gorilla trek, return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at the previous lodge.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, depart Bwindi for Kampala. You will have lunch en route. Have a briefing stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre to catch with the history of the Ankole people. After wards, you will proceed to Kampala or Entebbe. Drop off at the hotel or Entebbe airport to board your flight back home or flight to your next destination.
