Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks are homes for mountain gorillas, typically in their natural habitat. In this tour, you will meet the great apes in both Bwindi and Mgahinga. You will have a stopover at Uganda equator for snacks, photographs and an informative talk. Still on the trip, the following experiences are encountered: gorilla tracking a very memorable experience, community walk to Batwa cultural performances, traditional healers, and typical homes of the Bakiga, local breweries and local cultural craft shops!! Day 1: Travel to Bwindi

After breakfast from your hotel, you will be driven by our tour guide/drive to western Uganda via Mbarara with scenic view of green covers. Proceed to Mbarara town for en route lunch. Embark the vehicle; drive to Bwindi Park the home of endangered mountain gorillas in the world. Dinner and overnight

RUSHAGA: Rushaga Gorilla Havens (Budget) / Rushaga Gorilla Camp (Midrange) / Four Gorillas or Chameleon Hill Lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Have breakfast; prepare for briefing from park officials, about the “dos and don’ts” while tracking. After, setoff for the tracking experience inside the heritage jungle with the ranger guide. Carry with you packed drinking water, rain jacket and walk able boots, hut, insect repellent, Camera and any other gadget required for the activity. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas. Back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Spend an evening on village walk to experience typical amazing life for Ugandans around the park. Most interesting, the Batwa and Bakiga performances. Dinner and overnight, at your lodge as on day one.

Day 3: Travel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Have morning heavy breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Have lunch in Kisoro and visit the Batwa Village. Overnight at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (Midrange) / Mount Gahinga Lodge (Luxury)

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga

Go for a second gorilla trek in Mgahinga and track the Nyakagezi Gorilla Family. You can track again if the park officials confirm that the primates are available. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Kisoro tourist Hotel (Budget) / Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel (Midrange) / Mount Gahinga Lodge (Luxury)

Day 5: Return to Kampala

Have breakfast. Return to Kampala with en route lunch with a stopover at the equator for photographs and informative talk. Proceed to Kampala or Entebbe international Airport for your flight back home.
